Sacred Sand
It is so fun to receive sand from someone's favorite beach or visit to a very special place. Recently, I added 3 sand samples from these wonderful places, from wonderful friends:
- Healing dirt from el Santuario de Chimago
- Taos, from a friend searching for artistic enlightenment
- Sand from a friend's favorite childhood beach in Santa Cruz, CA.

Las Placitas, New Mexico
My sister-in-law sent me 7 gorgeous samples from Strip Mine Trail, Cibola National Forest, Placitas, NM. These colors are a delicious combination. A diamond ring would not have made me more happy! Some photos found on Panoramio. I can see the different colors of sand displayed in these photos on the blog Seattle to New Mexico (and on to Texas)
